Correct OEM style replacement that fits the front driver side of all 4 door models of 1955-1956 Ford and Mercury including Mainline, Customline, Station Wagon (Ranch, Park Lane), Custom, Monterey, Montclair, Medalist, Turnpike Cruiser.
The recess shown at the end of the rocker must be added by the end user to provide clearance for the center pillar.
It also finishes about 1' shy of the pillar centerpoint.
